    FM 99.3 - RADIO 2NSB
My very good friends at 99.3 are at it again. Always great supporters of my work, they will now be featuring my latest release, "whatever Lucy says" during February as a "Wish Disc". They will be promoting it heavily with lots of promotion, an interview or two and chances to win a copy.
They have quite a high profile for a community radio station here in Sydney playing a wide variety of great music. I couldn't tell you how many times people have emailed or said to me that they have heard my music being played. A special thank you to Georgina Reed, Sharon Thompson and Michael Beaumont.

Some great music sites on the net
    www.soul-patrol.com
An information, news gathering and educational series of internet resources focused on covering black music and culture of the last 50 years and is the largest black-owned internet site of its type reaching an impressive 500,000 soul music fans per month.
It's overall theme is "Great Black Music From The Ancient To The Future" and it's objective is to provide an alternative to commercial radio stations covering not only well known black artists and events, but also artists who are "beneath the radar" as they put it.
Soul-Patrol are great supporters of mine and, though they are proud of their blackness, they don't see my "paleness"!!
They are truly what music and this world should be about.
Bob Davis and his colleagues have done a radio special on my cd, "whisper my name", which is fabulous, and also featured me in a radio show for their Top 5 Artists of 2003. They have also put me in their Top 20 releases for 2003. I love them with all my heart and soul!!!! There is heaps to see on this site.

    www.soultracks.com
A leading site that is "tracking the world's greatest soul music."  It includes artist bios, "where are they now" features on classic soul stars, and introductions to great modern soul artists. Some of my favourite artists are featured on this site and I am chuffed to be included with them! If you love soul music, you really should pay them a visit.

    www.soulexpress.net
One of the leading modern soul portals in the world. Focusing on new releases in quality soul music, the site has an ever-growing world-wide audience of over 4,000 unique visitors each month. This figure has doubled in the past 12 months alone.
Based in Europe - Finland to be exact - it also provides a printed issue to subscribers (soul enthusiasts!) from 15 different countries all over the world - mainly European (Scandinavia, UK, Netherlands).
They kindly awarded me "Album of the Month for March 2003" - shout out to Ismo Tenkanen and Barry Towler.
    www.jazzmonthly.com
Baldwin "Smitty" Smith, formerly of www.thejazznation.com, works tirelessly to support artists, management, radio, sponsors, promoters, fans, the youths of jazz and me! This site is brand new but promises to offer the same fabulous things that jazznation did like CD and concert reviews, interviews, new and upcoming CD releases and an online store - all things jazz really. D.J. Fazio (reviewer) gave "whisper my name" the most fabulous review. See my reviews page.

"Some will classify her as "Jazz", some "R&B",
    some "Neo Soul", some "Pop",
however my feeling is that most of you won't care about the category
and just dig on the music...
This charismatic singer/songwriter has echoes of Laura Nyro, Minnie Riperton and Anita Baker.
