A writing session with the fabulous Gary Pinto - well he is Gary Pinot now - we christened him that as you can see from the bottle of wine. This was our "Still Hoping" session. Brydon Stace was there too but he is holding the camera. I hope to release this song one day - it's a beauty.
Louise with Peter Cupples from Stylus backstage at the Basement after a Hall and Oates Tribute show. I got to sing "Rich Girl" on that show... and sing backing vocals for Peter on "She's Gone" - fantastic! what a great singer he is!

"whatever Lucy says" i know.....
.. and again...
i was laughing because the intrepid photographer (Colleen Ward) chose to wear white jeans that day and then proceed to roll around on the freshly cut green grass to get the best picture.... such dedication...
even though this is kind of out of focus, this shot is my favourite - to me it captures the essence of the album "whatever Lucy says" - eyes to the sky, looking towards the light....
Okay, so this is the last one I will put up :-)
This is my beloved Rufus, the wonder dog....
Having some 60's kind of fun on stage at Taronga Park Zoo Twilight series 2009. I didn't even know that I could sing and dance at the same time until I did that gig!!!! From left, Tania Murray, Damien Lovelock of Celibate Rifles fame, Amanda Easton and me in the hat with Jon Howler on the drums.

Good looking and good at their job. This is Matt Fell at his studio, Love Hz, mixing my latest album, "whatever Lucy says" with Sam Hawksley (producer) supervising from over his shoulder. They are my white thongs also working hard there.
One of my happiest memories. On tour for the Australian Idol auditions in 2006, Erana Clark, Mark Williams and I let off some steam after a hard day's auditioning. We were singing songs we didn't even know we knew around the piano in the foyer of the hotel we were staying at in Alice Springs!!!
Was obviously a very high note... I'm holding on to the top of my head so it doesn't blow off ... that's the freakishly talented Gavin Pearce behind me on the bass - at a quick guest spot at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne.
A friend of mine sent this to me after a trip to Japan - could have been my first album cover maybe? thanks Lindsay :-)

Following the light - thanks to Geoff Fraser for this great live shot!
The band live and braving the elements - you can't see it from this pic but it was pouring with rain by the end of this outdoor show. We were up high and undercover....the poor audience were out there in the rain and the mud... but they hung in there with us!!!

An evening at the Woollahra Hotel in Sydney. Can you see the elbows to the right? The dancers in the audience nearly knocked me over that night! Bill Risby on piano, Kere Buchanan on drums and Victor Rounds on bass are there with me, shielded by their instruments!
Louise with Victor Rounds. I love doing gigs with Vic - he is so full of great energy and fun. Not bad on the bass and vocals either!!!!
Gigs in exotic locations.... ready when you are!!!! Makes it very easy for a girl to do her job when this is what the office looks like!
Another one of those fun days at The Bridge in Rozelle...
One of my favourite singers in Australia... sometimes I get lucky and get to sing with him – that’s Barry Leef there with his guitar. He always makes me sing Everynight (the Phoebe Snow version) and I always try to make him sing everything else so that I can just listen to his voice!!!! You can also see lovely Lloyd G on drums and the mighty, Alex Hewitson on bass.
